The best in quality of kerchiefs and shawls have come to us from Ukraine all the way from the famous shawl factory in Russia, the Pavlov Posad Shawl Factory. It is located in the City of Pavlovsky Posad, 58 km or some 35 miles outside of Moscow; established in 1812. The shawls and scarves are made of natural fibres: wool, cotton. "The base for woollen shawls is a high quality fine fleece wool, of which our weavers produce different kinds of fabric. A particular airiness and ecological purity of fabric allows not only to save a hair style, but to protect a hair against "the hotbed effect". Wool provides high quality, softness and drapery of fabrics, making any scarf look magnificent. It will protect you in any cold evening. The nature of wool is such that it keeps you warm at winter time, and "breathes" at warmer seasons, making these shawls both perfect cold weather scarves and a wonderful spring/autumn wear. Traditionally, women use them as headwear (wrapping them in various ways), or they wear them around their shoulders. We at Ukrainian-n-Things are most proud and honoured to offer these elegant and stylish form of women's outerwear from Russian - kerchiefs and shawls. May you enjoy. |
